Have you ever received a letter from Love?
A hug for your heart, a magical substack to follow, a promise... a letter from Love.
Hello my caring friend,
Have you ever wondered if it’s okay to look for joy, to choose joy, to find joy? If you’re worthy or deserving it? If it’s allowed to even want it, when so much can go wrong and has gone wrong, or when there’s pain and suffering in this world?
Love has thoughts on this… Love has an answer.
Her answer is Love.
To get more context on why I’m sharing this letter as today’s post, you can read last week’s Care.Check HERE and subscribe to magical Liz Gilbert’s magical substack, LETTERS FROM LOVE, HERE.
I’ll let you know all about my journey in the realm of Inquiry next week (more context on this HERE)!
With kindness, love and light—because I truly believe they’re our most sacred offering to this world.
Always,
leo
A letter from Love
New York, 09.27.23
Dear love, what would you have me know today?
“My Darling, you come to me with apprehension today. You believe I’m going to criticize you, because you’re asking for ease, and because you’re asking for joy.
As if it was a sin. As if it wasn’t allowed. As if I could get mad at you and make it mean something awful about you. I watch your heart sink and your system trying to protect it. Oh my Darling, it couldn’t be further from the truth though.
I celebrate you for making those BRAVE choices! Oh how brave it is, indeed, to step away from saviorism and martyrdom! How brave it is to embrace the beauty and joy of the world. How much vulnerability and willingness to trust and understand it takes… How brave it is to refuse to rely on external validation for a minute longer. How extraordinary it is to wake up in the morning and to open your hands and your heart to Love. To keep your head high—not in defiance but in anticipation of both the kindness of Life and the uncertainty of this world.
Of my little baby beaver, I see you, and I applaud this prayer, this intention. This surrender, this decision. Because it is both. Both a letting go and a choice to begin anew. You’re asking Love to dance you, and I’m here, tiny honey. I’m here. Ready to catch you. Eager to hug you. In awe of my beloved children on Earth and so grateful to have you, as part of my family of Love, to have you as a little soul I get to witness and love and nurture and, YES, AGAIN, celebrate.
You are not a mistake my love. You are a sweet kind loving creature I cannot ever get enough of. I love you. I agree with you that it’s time to learn through love, through joy, with ease, bathing in beauty and awe.
I wish all my beloved precious human children could do that. And they will soon enough… So lead the way my little dove! And I will lead you home.”
CARE.CHECK: Here’s your permission slip (and invitation) to go download your own… Love is here, right here waiting to speak to you.
From a place of centeredness, from a state of presence, humbly and wholeheartedly ask the following question: “Dear Love, what would you have me know today?” and then wait… patiently, trustingly, for Love’s answer.
“Nobody but nobody makes it out here alone.
What really matters now is love.”
