This is great! I agree, we have gotten ourselves in so much trouble with this either/or. It breeds separateness. It breeds judgment and unacceptance, which is of no value. Imagine a world that followed your words! Ahh, how nice. We are all individuals with differences that we need to respect and our answers come from within, so there is no "right" way, and we all need to be more open-minded. Is it people's nature to just want to be right, and that is what starts the separateness? Or is it that they just don't want to or don't have the capacity to be open-minded and loving because they don't truly love themselves or have found any inner peace? Thanks for getting me thinking more about this!

Love your response. And I agree about Love. Pain, fear, control are all a coverup. I loved your comment about preachiness a mask for our wounds. So true.

There’s so much unrecognized pain out there. We all have our share but for some of us we are aware of it and moving through it. Maybe that makes us more aware of others pain.

I’ve finally learned instead of giving advice, give Love.

"I've finally learned instead of giving advice, give Love" 🙏🏻♥️ - those words need to be tattooed on all of our psyches so that we can find our way home

I love those questions Lorie. I'm sitting with them too 🤲🏻

I believe that our nature is Love and that anything that doesn't come from Love comes from pain, but it can hard at times to see how pain is driving someone's need to attack in the name of defense... because people often look like they're on top of the world when they give in to that need of categorizing and making everything that they don't believe to be right wrong. Preachiness is such a powerful mask for our wounds.

But this realization that it is when we do not love ourselves that we cannot fully love others is one I cherish in my heart of hearts. Thank you for reminding of that ♥️
