Today I choose a new beginning

Today I choose a new beginning—one that acknowledges what was and what will be, but focuses only on now.

I choose to let my heart open in a whole new way and to let it change me, within, without, forever—and therefore now.

I choose to let my mind wander in the realm of fears until it realizes it can join me, safely tucked in love.

I choose to let my body guide me towards what feels good, deep, true, holy and anchored.

I choose to begin anew from experience and yet without a story, a reference or a goal.

I choose love as a mentor, hope as an editor and trust as a scribe. I choose to embody every story arc and feel my way through the story like an optimistic devotee bowing to the sacredness of joy.

Today I choose a new beginning—and I pledge to love each letter of each word on each page of the magical book of what happens next.
